The Pitztal Glacier express and the Rifflsee cable car are each around 500 metres from the hotel. It takes around five minutes to walk to the valley station of the Pitztal Glacier and about ten minutes to the Rifflsee cable car. When conditions are suitable, you can ski directly from the glacier back to Natur Residenz Anger Alm.
The ski bus stops right outside the hotel. So you can happily leave your car where it is.

The cross-country ski trail starts right at Anger Alm, opening up a network of trails for classic skiing and skating, complemented by high-altitude trails on the glacier and at Rifflsee.
Use of the valley trails is included with the Pitztal Guest Card, while separate rules may apply to individual high-altitude trails. The trail report provides information on current openings and conditions.
Winter hiking trails and a snowshoe route start right at the house, so the tranquil winter landscape begins just a few steps away.
Away from secured routes, avalanche conditions and experience are crucial. Guided tours by the Pitztal Mountain Guides Association provide safety.
The Taschach Gorge is just a few minutes’ walk away. In winter, an impressive world of ice and rock takes shape there.
Ice climbing requires suitable equipment and experience. Guided options provide a safe introduction.
The Glacier Express and Rifflsee cable car are around five and ten minutes away on foot respectively. Current operating times and lift status are available online.
The free ski bus stops directly at the hotel and connects the ski areas throughout Pitztal, so the car can stay parked.
